The dBc creates music packages based on your budget and volume of music needed. We remove the burden of administration and music search. We discuss the scope of your project and ensure you have the all the rights required for your production.

We use the following licensing methods:

• Needle Drop  licensing (pay a license fee per "play" in your production)
• Production Blanket  (Unlimited music for a single license fee, based on clearance and production length runtime)
• Annual Production Blanket  (A flat fee based on the volume of music used over a year)
• The right composer for your project- Custom Scoring
• Regardless of your territory, we can issue you a license directly

Delivery Methods

The Decibel Collective library is available for delivery using two methods, depending on your needs and schedule:

• DVD-ROM
• Digital Download

Why DVD-ROM? Instead of dozens of CD cases cluttering up your shelf, we ship our sets in DVD-ROM volumes, containing 12 CDs worth of music per 2-DVD volume. As well, our sets contain all of our music in .WAV format, saving you the time and hassle of converting all of your audio into a useable digital format. Just drag and drop and you’re back in the edit—simple, truly compact and easy. We believe that you’ll like the results.

How does Digital Download work? Instead of using FTP clients, The Decibel Collective delivers its digital content via WhaleMail—Allowing fast, easy delivery of large files without cluttering up your mailbox or having you wait for snail mail. No software to install!
